All flour used in all our brownies is organic (except the gluten free brownies). The eggs used are free range. Both the eggs and butter are locally sourced wherever possible.
Our brownies do not contain nuts, but they are homemade in a kitchen that handles gluten, nuts, eggs, milk , dairy and soya.
All brownies are sent via courier and will arrive by 4pm the next day and will need to be signed for. All care in taken in sending out your brownies so they arrive in perfect condition but sometimes the box can be battered about a bit once it leaves here. How long will my brownies last?
Your brownies are best stored in an airtight tin or box after they have arrived. They are at their best for up to 5 days from delivery.
Can I freeze my brownies?
Yes they are freeze really well. Just wrap well before freezing and defrost at room temperature for a couple of hours before eating.
Can I warm my brownies up?
Although delicious served at room temperature, I highly recommend that you warm a brownie for 10-15 seconds in a microwave and serve with a scoop of ice cream for a delicious dessert. You can even pretend that you've made them yourself!
I can make a brownie using whatever ingredients you want. Speak to me about a slab of 12 or 18 brownes made just for you, with whatever you want in them (within reason!). Minimum cost £25 plus delivery. Drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org or message me on Facebook: ShortAndSweetBakeryUK
Are your brownies suitable for vegetarians?
The boxes that the brownies are sent out in are 100% recyclable and corrugated cardboard has the highest recycling rates of any packaging in the UK. On average, 76% of our boxes are made from recycled fibres. I aim to use local, organic and free range products wherever possible. The shredded paper used in the boxes is from recycled coffee cups.
